Who can use SisterLegacy
SisterLegacy is a private network for members of a college sorority chapter: active members, alumnae and advisors. You need an invite from your chapter to join, and you must be at least 17 years old. Employer accounts are for verified companies and are subject to our approval.
Your account
Keep your login to yourself and use your real name. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Zero tolerance for abuse
No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, scams or impersonation. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share. We and your chapter's admins can remove content and remove members who break these rules, without notice. Employers who misuse access are suspended.
Reporting and blocking
Report any person, post, message or job opening from its menu. Reports go to your chapter's admins, who review them, and to us for serious cases. Blocking someone hides their content from you; you can also block a company.
Jobs, introductions and employers
Job posts, introductions, employer openings and employer requests come from members and companies, not from SisterLegacy. Do your own diligence.
- Visibility to employers is off until you turn on "Show me to verified employers". Active members are shown to employers for internships only, until their senior year.
- Employer openings. Verified companies can post openings to a chapter's Jobs tab. When you tap "I'm interested" on an opening, your profile card and the note you write are shared with that one company.
- Chapter admins can hide a company's openings from their chapter.
- Employers may contact members only about real roles, through SisterLegacy, within the daily request limit, and may not copy or resell member information.
Payments
SisterLegacy is free for chapters and members. Employers pay one plan, $1,000 a year per company, purchased on our website through Stripe. The plan renews each year until canceled, and can be canceled at any time from the employer dashboard.
Leaving
You can delete your account any time from You, then Delete account.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we'll tell you in the app.
